Warning: If you get a call from “Microsoft Support” or any other company telling you that your computer is infected or sending out personal information, it is 100% a scam. Do NOT give them any money to fix your computer and do NOT give them remote access to your computer. On the same note, if a message pops up on your screen from an application you don’t have installed telling you that it’s infected and to call a number or go to a website for support, it is also a scam. If you’ve been bit by one of these scams and you’ve downloaded and installed an application or given them access to your computer, please call us or bring in your computer so we can remove their access and any malware/viruses that might have been installed.
